Chairman, Founder and Technical COO: Alexander Sergeev, 40

Mr. Sergeev is famous in Russian IT high-tech industry for his fundamental software development projects in Web Application Server technology. In 1983, Mr. Sergeev was the Head of Group of Applied Artificial Intelligence for Semiconductors Industry. He served as Chair of the Software Department at The Institute of Nuclear Safety (The Russian Academy of Sciences) and was the first entrepreneur outside the US to develop a new concept of server software as early as the 1980s.

Mr. Sergeev conceived and developed the most successful Russian brands in Web Application Server technology (such as Baikonur and BEAST), which are the foundation of The Central Bank of Russian Federation, Aeroflot, Lukoil, Gazprom, etc. Mr. Sergeev is the author of many articles and white papers. He is a well-known personality in the Russian IT world and is a fixture in Russian technology magazines, conference presidiums and speaker lists of technology seminars and trade shows. Alexander holds an MS in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

President and CEO: Igor Shoifot, 34

Mr. Shoifot has a decade of high-tech/new markets business development experience in the US, Russia and Eastern Europe. His background includes marketing, sales, technology, operations, finance and new business development. Igor worked as an executive marketing consultant at the Plymouth Rock Group of Companies in Boston, launched several Internet projects, including educational, entertainment, business consulting and trade finance; worked as VP of Sales and Marketing at Octet Media, a Silicon Alley IT company, and was President of the largest interactive television entertainment portal.

Mr. Shoifot’s sales, alliances and partnerships include Microsoft, InfoSpace, International Securities Exchange, Global Forex Trading, Pegasus Communications, and several other large clients. He teaches Internet Marketing and Starting Internet Ventures at Manhattan Institute of Management. Mr. Shoifot has an MBA from Boston University, a PhD from The Russian Academy of Sciences, an MA from Central European University, Hungary and a BA in Law and Social Sciences from Moscow Pedagogical University.

EVP, Marketing: Robert N. Langworthy, 71

Mr. Langworthy brings considerable expertise in advertising, public relations and international business transactions to the Company. He spent over 20 years in the advertising business for J. Walter Thompson Co., marketing Ford cars, RCA products and Unilever packaged goods, and, with Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample, Inc. on Procter & Gamble’s Dash and General Mills’ Cheerios.

For his second career, Robert legally repatriated blocked funds from Latin America, Africa and Asia for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Max Factor, United Brands, Cluett Peabody, Pan-American Airways, United Artists, MGM and other Fortune 50 clients. He also provided economic consulting services to the United Nations and to several national governments. Mr. Langworthy launched several Internet-based projects, including those in insurance and trade finance areas. Mr. Langworthy graduated from Dartmouth College and attended the University of Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, West Germany. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Dartmouth Club of New York.  

Chief Technology Architect: Andrey Dementiev, 26

Mr. Dementiev was the principal software architect of Epsylon Technologies libraries and development environments and the technical manager of Taxxi Communicator 2.0. Andrey published numerous articles about principles of server side programming. His technical ideas are incorporated as a foundation in ET’s underlying concepts, products and technologies. Mr. Dementiev is one of the authors of Taxxi Communicator and HTML and Taxxi libraries. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Moscow State Institute of Electronic Engineering.

VP, West Coast Ops and Intellectual Property: Patrick Reilly, 44

A true veteran of Silicon Valley, Mr. Reilly is an Intellectual Property Marketing Professional accomplished at leveraging the central significance of Intellectual Property in business development, OEM negotiations and strategic selling. Pat spent 16 years in account management and high-tech business development. His achievements include development of synergistic partnerships, interactive television content development and marketing, patent prosecution and online entertainment. Mr. Reilly worked as Director of Sales and Marketing in semiconductor test industry with Reid-Ashman Mfg., and as Senior Sales Engineer with Tektronix, where his clients included Philips Semiconductor, Motorola, IBM, GE, Raytheon and Digital Equipment Corp.

Mr. Reilly is a Registered US Patent Agent, holds BS in Sociology from SUNY, BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Toledo and is working on completing his JD at Concord Law School.

VP, Software Development: Dmitri Don, 28

Mr. Don was a Lead Developer for Sensenet.com and Citipost.com. His areas of expertise include back-end, front-end, usability and complex application development. Dmitri participated in development of the RCN.com and Time Warner sites. Mr. Don consulted MasterCard, CitiPost and other large companies. He also developed Fotki.com, one of the most popular online photo sites, and was the lead developer of one of the leading PR portals, Courtney Pulitzer’s Cocktails with Courtney. Dmitri taught several software development courses, including those on Java and Visual Basic.

VP, Product Development Alexander Horoshilov, 25

Mr. Horoshilov was principal software architect of Epsylongames.com and the technical manager of Baikonur (SuperBEAST now). Alexander holds a PhD in Computer Science from Moscow State Institute of Electronic Engineering. He is the author of numerous articles on distributed programming. Currently his scientific research areas are software design patterns and quality of program source code. Alexander participated in EuroPLoP 2001.

VP, Training and Community Development Vadim Miller, 34

Mr. Miller has over 10 years experience in information technologies as programmer and consultant. Vadim possesses an almost universal knowledge of languages, compilers, libraries, databases, tools and operating systems. He developed and taught a set of training courses for advanced Delphi and Java users. Mr. Miller development experience includes systems for: warehousing, online reservation, top management decision making, accounting, intranet, workflow, and XML-based browser. Mr. Miller is among the authors of Taxxi Communicator.

Vadim holds a M. S. in Electronic Engineering from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technologies.

VP, Database Development: Dmitri Kouzmenko, 36

Mr. Kouzmenko has 12 years experience in the RDBMS area. He is known as THE RDBMS guru in Eastern Europe. During the past five year he has taught approximately 200 computer people to develop databases and create database applications, performed at 18 software exhibitions and participated in 15 projects as DBA and database architecture consultant. Have experience in Oracle, Informix, MUMPS, MS SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL. His non-profit technical support site (ib.demo.ru) is the biggest site about Interbase RDBMS in the world.
